The uncoiler safely holds the coil of strip and enables the strip to be unstrapped and presented to the strip peeling and leveling equipment. For high productivity double sided uncoilers are used. However, where there is available storage and time single sided uncoilers can be used.
Vertical and horizontal uncoilers are available for most applications i.e ERW, TIG and Laser using steel, steel alloy, stainless steel, copper, copper alloy and Aluminum. Uncoilers for other applications and materials available on request.

Uncoilers are designed to meet the requirements of the mill and the customers specifications. In most cases these are individually designed to meet the specifications. Some standard units are available.
